Primary producers, processors, retailers and
catering establishments now recognize the need for
independent monitoring of their products, procedures
and services. Now in Myanmar, SGS is playing a key
role in helping to complement their food quality and
safety programmes. SGS in Myanmar is currently
providing technical inspection, testing and auditing
services to the following types of services.
Physical
Quality Inspection (Final Random Inspection) -
Calibration of the pieces (Size) - Number of pieces
(Count) - Net thawed weight (Weight) - External
Quality Inspection (Soft Shell, Black Spot, Broken
Shell, Color, Odor, Uniformity)
Loading
Supervision - Temperature of the container before
staffing (if the cargo is to be stuffed inside the
supplier’s premises, the temperature of the storage
facility is taken) - Temperature of the cargo
before/ during stuffing - Temperature of the
container one hour after stuffing completion -
Packing Inspection (Master Carton, wrapping,
cleaning, torn) - Marking Inspection (Brand, product
name, sticker, label, packed by, packed for, product
date code, address, size, country of origin, EU No.)
and other requests. - Tally of the Master Cartons -
Tally of the size by size cartons - Specific
